Interview with ASCAP AVP of Licensing Business Analysis

    March 20th, 2007

Why were you first attracted to Drawloop?
“While working on our salesforce.com CRM integration, we were looking for a document packaging solution. We interviewed several companies and engaged a competitor to Drawloop. As it turned out, the company could not meet our needs. We were then introduced to Drawloop as a solutions partner of salesforce.com. Drawloop was able to meet the document packaging requirements of ASCAP and got the contract.”

Where was the most critical need for Drawloop in your company?
“In our general licensing department. Sales presentations, letter packages, administrative tasks and customer service all had document automation needs. Drawloop met all of our needs in this area, including all legal documents, contracts and licenses. The other vendor could not insure that the document package could import different document formats into one Adobe PDF file (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel).”

Who is using the system in your company and how are they using it?
“Licensing representatives, sales people, management and administrative staff. They are using it to package various licensing letter packages that include letters, rate schedules, invoices and disclosures.”

How have you experienced growth in your sales?

“Since using Drawloop, we have increased the number of packages generated . . . an additional 35% more fulfilled each day. We are generating over 1,000 document packages each week.”

What do you project to be Drawloop’s impact to your company in the future?
“I see continued increase in our volume each day along with an increase in new prospects. We also plan to add more users as we deploy document automation in other departments.”

The Madness is upon us. When it comes to sports, this is my favorite time of year. Sixty four teams and sixty three games in three weeks. Upsets, cinderella stories, your alma mater running it deep into the tourney, winning the office bracket, it doesn’t get much better than March Madness. I notice it bleeding over to other facets of life, effectively making everything a competetion. And in accordance, to select this weeks’ App of the Week, I selected eight of my favorite new apps and assigned them each to a NCAA Team in a simulated tournament and I let my Playstation decide. And while all were worthy, only one could win…
