LOOP DDP - Using the Application

« Back to LOOP DDP

Take a few minutes to review how to build a web-based solution and deploy the results as a Dynamic Document Package (DDP) to automate document creation.

To start, click here to view 9 “howto” slides.

You can build a DDP in minutes by following these simple steps.

Prepare Docs:

(1) add fields
Create fields that will be mapped to dynamic text (Word or PowerPoint) or range names (Excel) in your documents. You will map the dynamic text to fields during the upload process.

(2) tag documents
Mark the parts of your documents that are dynamic and need to be mapped to fields in a web form.

(3) upload documents
We will identify all of your text or range names that have been marked as dynamic during the upload. You will then be asked to map that dynamic text or range names to fields.

Build Your Dynamic Document Package (DDP):

(1) create a profile
A profile provides attribution for your DDP — your name, company name or any other information is displayed on the search results page and DDP detail page.

(2) build your dynamic document package (ddp)
You have four (4) simple steps to build your new DDP:

  1. Setup: Name your DDP, give it a summary and assign a profile,
  2. Order: select the documents you want to use in your DDP and organize the page order,
  3. Web Form: Organize your web form or forms used for the DDP (note: the fields available will display based on the documents selected on Step 2),
  4. Sharing: Select if you want to deploy as public or private

(3) test and publish

DDP Options:
Once you have tested your DDP, you have the following options:

1) Security
You can mark the DDP (a) Public, (b) Public-Unlisted and (c) Private. For paid users, you can even deploy your DDP on a private labeled mini-site.

2) Deployment
You can deploy your DDP on (a) LOOP Exchange, (b) Embed - anywhere on the Web, (c) Embed with single-sign on and (d) Mini-site.
